Once you are finished with your first visit, you will be scheduled to come in to have the permanent crown put on. During this visit, your dentist will numb the area again and remove the temporary crown and your permanent crown will be put in its place. Your dentist will make sure that your permanent crown is comfortable for you and your bite. They may have to do a little forming of the new crown to make sure that it does fit properly.
